PLYMOUTH, Wis. - The Rockford University women's soccer team (0-9-1, 0-3 NACC) dropped its third conference match of the week on Saturday at the Lakeland University Muskies (2-6-1, 1-2 NACC). The Muskies scored two goals in each half, and outshot the Regents 33-1 en route to the 4-0 win.
- The Muskies broke the scoreless tie at the 7:03 mark, when Skylar Garza found the back of the net to give her team a 1-0 lead.
- Lakeland added another goal in the 34th minute to take a 2-0 advantage into the break.
- The Muskies extended their lead to 3-0 in the 55th minute, off a goal from Rachel Hasko.
- Lakeland added one final goal in the 82nd minute en route to a 4-0 victory.
- Freshman goalkeeper Amelia Harper continues to put together an amazing season in the net. Harper had 12 more saves on Saturday, bringing her season total to 127. She has recorded at least ten saves in seven of Rockford's ten matches, including a season-high 21 saves against the defending NACC Champions, Dominican University. Harper currently leads the NACC and entering today's match, was ranked fourth in all of NCAA Division III in saves.
The RU women's soccer team returns to action on Tuesday, October 1 at Concordia University Chicago. The match has a scheduled start time of 2:00 PM.
