"I was very pleased with how well everyone ran in our first virtual competition of the year," Head Coach James Diamond remarked. "For many of them this was their first race since March, and despite all of that time off, we had a surprising amount of personal records and standout performances."

"On the men's side, Dominick won by running a conservative first kilometer and pushing hard over the last mile of the race. Antoine and Chris ran PR's, while Ryan ran a top 3 personal performance."

"On the women's team, Victoria and Kellie ran side by side until the last 800m, when Kellie started to pull ahead and won with a strong kick. Both Kellie and Victoria also ran personal bests."

The RU cross country teams will return to competition on Tuesday, September 15 for the Regent Relays virtual meet.
