CHICAGO, Ill. - The Rockford University women's soccer team (3-13-0, 2-11-0) fell 11-0 on the road to Illinois Tech (13-5-1, 9-3-0 NACC) to conclude its 2021 season. The Scarlet Hawks scored six goals in the first half and added five more in the second half to secure the victory. Despite the loss, it was an extremely successful season for the Regents. Rockford won multiple NACC matches for the first time since 2008 and also defeated Lakeland University in NACC play for the first time in school history. Additionally, the Regents had no seniors on this year's team and thus appears poised to continue to make strides well into the future.
- The Scarlet Hawks scored a trio of goals in the first ten minutes of the match to leap out to a 3-0 lead.
- Illinois Tech would add goals in the 18th, 24th and 34th minutes to take a 6-0 lead into the half.
- The Scarlet Hawks tacked on five more goals in the second half en route to an 11-0 win.
