Mateo Fernandez Solari finished with a season-high 19 points and 10 rebounds to help lead Rockford to a 75-64 victory at Beloit College. Rockford was extremely efficient on the offensive end of the floor, while also putting together yet another stingy defensive performance. The Regents shot 49.1% from the floor, including a season-high 52.9% effort from three-point range. Rockford also held the Bucs to a season-low 34.5% shooting, including 23.8% from beyond the arc. This marks the second straight game Rockford has held its opponents to a season-low shooting performance.
- Beloit opened the game on a 9-4 run to take an early lead.
- Rockford would score the next five points, capped off by a triple from Mateo Fernandez Solari, to knot the game at 9-9 with 15:07 remaining in the first half.
- However, the Bucs answered right back with a 10-4 run to take their largest lead of the game at 19-13.
- The back and forth nature of the game continued with the Regents running off the next 14 points and capturing their first lead of the day. Five different Regents scored over that 6:50 stretch, led by four apiece from Vincent Eugene and Mateo Fernandez Solari.
- Rockford would extend its lead to as many as nine points, but Beloit scored the final four points of the half, giving Rockford a 39-34 advantage heading into the break.
- Beloit continued to slowly chip away at the Regents' lead, culminating with the Bucs using a 7-0 run midway through the second half and retaking the lead at 49-48.
- With the game now tied at 51-51, Mateo Fernandez Solari and Zac Centers hit threes on consecutive possessions to put Rockford back out in front by six with 8:25 remaining.
- The Regents would essentially salt the game away following an 11-3 spurt, which gave Rockford a 68-56 lead with 5:24 left. Rockford went a blistering 5-for-6 from the floor during that stretch, led by four points each from Daelyn Franklin and Mateo Fernandez Solari.
- Beloit never got any closer than eight the rest of the way, as Rockford picked up its sixth win in its last seven games against the Buccaneers.
