Game Recap: Women's Basketball |

Regents Rout Scarlet Hawks for 15th Win of the Season

ROCKFORD, Ill. - The Rockford University women's basketball team (14-10) had little trouble facing the Illinois Tech Scarlet Hawks (5-19) in a Thursday night win with a final score of 61-30. Almost the entire Regents roster had a chance to contribute over the course of the game, as the lead was never in doubt after the opening run. Evelyn Abundes had a season-high 14 points including three three-pointers to lead Rockford. With the 15th win of the year, women's basketball has the most wins as a program since 2008, a great accomplishment. The Regents will try and carry this momentum into Saturday's game against MSOE at the Seaver Center.
