Brandon Emerick Named First Team All-NACC

ROCKFORD, Ill. - Rockford University's Brandon Emerick concluded his remarkable career as a Regent with yet another First Team All-NACC selection. This marks the third time in his storied career that Emerick has been named First Team All-NACC, which is more than any other player in program history. Emerick also becomes just the third RU men's basketball player to receive postseason recognition from the NACC three times during his career (Tony Diemer and Zach Wallace). 

Brandon Emerick capped off his time as a Regent with a historic senior season, where he broke a pair of Rockford University and NACC career records. Emerick is now the record holder for both made three pointers (272) and three-point attempts (746) in a career. His outstanding play throughout the season also earned him a pair of NACC Men's Basketball Player of the Week awards. Emerick's two NACC Player of the Week honors this season gives him a total of four in his career, which ties him for the most in program history. Additionally, Emerick finished as the school's career leader in steals (238) and the tenth leading scorer in program history (1,470 points). He also had 376 assists and 334 rebounds to round out his time in a Regent uniform.

At the conclusion of the NACC Tournament, Brandon Emerick led the NACC in one category and ranked in the top ten in four more. Emerick ended the year leading the conference in steals per game (2.1). He was also second in the NACC in total steals (48), made three-pointers per game (3.0) and three-point attempts per game (8.3) and eighth in assists per game (3.2). Finally, Emerick wrapped up his career by averaging 14.4 points per game in his final season as a Regent.
