DE PERE, Wis. - The Rockford University women's basketball team fell 66-46 on the road to the NACC-leading St. Norbert College Green Knights. The Regents played basically even with the Green Knights in the first and fourth quarters, but unfortunately, were outscored 32-14 in the second and third quarters combined. Both teams finished with seven made triples, but St. Norbert connected on nine more shot attempts and shot 44.6% from the floor, compared to 37.2% shooting for the Regents.
- St. Norbert led by as many as five points early on in the first quarter.
- Rockford slowly chipped away at the deficit and took its first lead of the game at the 3:45 mark. Jocelyn Callahan drained a triple midway through an 8-0 Regent run, to put her team out in front 15-14. Rockford would extend its lead to as many as four points, at 18-14.
- However, the Green Knights scored the final five points of the period and grabbed a 19-18 advantage.
- St. Norbert then scored the first six points of the second quarter, to take the largest lead thus far for either team at 25-18.
- The Green Knights continued to extend their lead and eventually took a 38-23 advantage into halftime.
- The Regents were able to score the first four points of the second half and pull back within 11 at 38-27. Tyra Clark and Kyla Wilkerson each had two points.
- Unfortunately, the Green Knights outscored the Regents 13-4 the rest of the way and took a 51-32 lead into the fourth.
- With St. Norbert now out in front 55-35, Rockford went on a 10-3 run to make it a 58-45 game. Audrina Terhune led the way with five points, while Tyra Clark added three points.
- However, the Regents were unable to get any closer and fell by a final score of 66-46.
- Tyra Clark finished with a game-high 15 points on 5-of-6 shooting. She also had 6 rebounds, 3 steals and 2 assists.
- Katie Paredes tallied 11 points, 6 rebounds and 1 steal.
- Kyla Wilkerson had 9 points, 2 rebounds and 1 steal.
