ROCKFORD, Ill. - The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference announced Tuesday morning that Rockford University quarterback Jaelen Ray has been selected as the NACC Football Offensive Player of the Week. This is now the third straight season that Ray has been named the conference's offensive player of the week at least once during the year.

Quarterback Jaelen Ray led the Regent offense to both a season-high in points (61) and in total yards (599), and accounted for seven touchdowns in Saturday's impressive 61-41 win against Concordia University Chicago. Ray went 24-of-36 for 402 yards and threw a season-high 6 touchdown passes. He also ran for a career-high 67 yards and 1 touchdown.
