ROCKFORD, Ill. - The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference announced Tuesday morning that Rockford University senior forward Kevin Diemer has been voted the NACC Men's Basketball Player of the Week. This marks the sixth time in his career that Kevin Deimer has received a NACC weekly award, which is the most for any player in program history. 

Kevin Diemer tallied a pair of double-doubles on the road last week for the Regents. He opened with a game-high 27 points, 10 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 block and 1 steal in a win at Maranatha. Diemer then had a game-high 18 points, 11 rebounds and 2 blocks at Benedictine. For the week, he averaged 22.5 points on 52.8% shooting, 10.5 rebounds and 1.5 blocks.

The RU men's basketball team is back home on Wednesday, December 20 against Earlham College. Tip-off is set for 1 PM in the Seaver Center.
