ROCKFORD, Ill. - The Rockford University men's basketball team took an impressive 68-61 win over the visiting Edgewood College Eagles in a Wednesday night NACC matchup. The Regents had a solid day producing a 24-58 (41%) day from the field and 5-19 (26%) performance from three-point range. The Regents were able to hold the Eagles to just 38% shooting and 9% shooting from three-point range on 23 attempts. Rockford was able to win the turnover battle 9-7 and turn those 9 turnovers into just 7 points, while Edgewood turned its turnovers into 8 points. with this win the Regents improve to 6-2 overall and 2-1 in conference play, which is good for 4th place in the NACC.
