ROCKFORD, Ill. - The Rockford University women's basketball team took a close loss 52-42 to the Wisconsin Lutheran College Warriors in a Saturday afternoon NACC game. Wisconsin Lutheran had a slight 31.6% - 29.8% advantage in field goal percentage and a pretty significant 26.9% - 11.1% advantage in three-point percentage. The main difference in the game is the Warriors took over in the first quarter with a 25-11 lead on 64.7% shooting and Rockford was never able to come back. Rockford put up a solid showing defensively allowing less than double-digit figures for the next two quarters, but it was not enough, ultimately taking the 52-42 loss.

- The Regents were able to get their first points from an Audrina Terhune layup to cut the lead to 5.
- The Warriors kept it going though and found their way to a commanding 25-11 lead over Rockford after one quarter.
- Rockford scored the first 6 points of the second quarter to make it a 25-17 game, with 4 points coming from Lexi Keating.
- The Regents were able to hold the Warriors to just 2 points, on 1-15 (6.7%) shooting in the second quarter and make it a 27-20 game through the first half.
- Rockford got off to a quick start in the second half with a three-pointer by Tyra Clark to make it a 4-point game.
- WLC went on a slight 7-3 run to take a 34-26 lead with 4:27 left in the third quarter.
- The Regents took the next 6 out of 8 points to make it a 4-point 36-32 Wisconsin Lutheran lead with one quarter to go.
- WLC scored the first 4 points of the quarter to take a 40-32 lead with 8:42 left in the game.
- The Warriors were able to stay in control and find their way to a 52-42 victory over the Regents.
