Game Recap: Women's Basketball |

Women's Hoops Falls at Elmhurst

ELMHURST, Ill. - The Rockford University women's basketball team suffered its first lost of the season 68-64 on Monday night at Elmhurst University. The game was as close to a statistical dead heat as you can possibly get. While there were only two ties and three lead changes, both teams made the exact same number of field goals (22) and three-pointers (7) and had the same number of second chance points (12). However, the margin of victory came at the free throw line. Although Rockford shot a better percentage at the line (81.3% to 77.3%), Elmhurst attempted six more free throws and made four of the them to help secure the four-point victory.
