Men's Hoops Wins Crucial Road Game at Edgewood

MADISON, Wis. - The Rockford University men's basketball team won its second straight NACC game on Wednesday night with a 77-62 victory at Edgewood College. Rockford led for nearly 27 minutes and by as many as 23 points late in the second half. Conversely, the Eagles led for just over 11 minutes but never by more than four points. The Regents absolutely crushed the Eagles on the glass the entire night. Rockford outrebounded Edgewood 49-25, including a decisive 18-3 advantage in offensive rebounds, which led to a 21-9 edge in second chance points. The Regents also controlled the paint, outscoring Edgewood by a 44-30 margin in the lane. Rockford has now won four straight in the series after dropping the previous six meetings.
