ROCKFORD, Ill. - The Rockford University men's basketball program had a player honored by the NACC for the 16th consecutive season when the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference announced its 2023-24 postseason awards on Wednesday afternoon. Senior forward
Kevin Diemer was named First Team All-NACC for the second time in his career. This now marks the third year that he has received postseason recognition from the NACC (2020-21 - NACC South Division Player of the Year and First Team All-NACC; 2022-23 - Second Team All-NACC).

Kevin Diemer was voted First Team All-NACC by the conference's thirteen head coaches following his outstanding senior year. Diemer had yet another stellar season and helped lead Rockford to the #4-seed in the NACC Tournament and the Regents' first home postseason game and tournament win in three years. He was one of the top players in the conference throughout the season, as evidenced by the fact that he was one of only three players to be selected the NACC Men's Basketball Player of the Week multiple times this year. He also led the Regents in a trifecta of crucial statistical categories: points (18.4), rebounds (6.5) and assists (3.2). Diemer ended the regular season in the top ten in the NACC in five categories and was top 15 in two others. He finished the year ranked third in the NACC in scoring, fourth in assist to turnover ratio (2.1), eighth in assists, ninth in field goal percentage (48.2%), tenth in made 3-point field goals (2.0), 11th in rebounding and 14th in blocks (0.8). He ends is career as one of the top players in the history of the Rockford University men's basketball program. Diemer's 1,575 points and 836 rebounds ranks him seventh and sixth respectively in school history. He is also just one of six players in program history to finish his career with at least 1,500 points and 800 rebounds.Â
