Regents Place Fifth; Harkey Named All-Tournament Team at the GLBC 3

LOVES PARK, Ill. - The Rockford University women's bowling team had perhaps its best performance of the season over the weekend at the third of four Great Lakes Bowling Conference Tournaments (GLBC). As a team, the Regents finished in fifth place, which was their highest GLBC Tournament finish thus far this year. Rockford knocked down a total of 6,065 pins over the two-day tournament. The Regents dropped 3,659 pins during the individual games and 2,406 pins in the baker games. Individually, Ashley Harkey had the highest finish for any RU bowler ever and placed fifth with an impressive 175.8 average. She was also the first Regent bowler to ever be named to an all-tournament team.
