ROCKFORD, Ill. -- The Rockford University women's soccer team lost 4-0 on Wednesday afternoon to the Concordia University Wisconsin Falcons.
Neither team was able to muster a goal until the 24th minute, when Autumn Snow converted for Concordia Wisconsin.Â
The Falcons kept the pressure on in the first half. Two more shots hit the back of the net before the halftime break. CUW outshot Rockford 28-0 in the first half.
The Regents defense showed some fight in the second half, only surrendering one goal. Goalkeeper
Lily Rose finished the game with 14 saves.
Rockford was never able to find any rhythm offensively. The final score was 4-0 in favor of Concordia Wisconsin.
The Regents will return to action on Friday, Oct. 17, with a 1:00 p.m. CDT NACC match against Edgewood at Sam Greeley Field.Â
