ROCKFORD, Ill. - The Rockford University men's basketball team earned its eleventh NACC Tournament berth, and tied the program record with its fifth straight NACC Tournament appearance, after a 76-65 win over Illinois Tech last Saturday. The Regents are now slated hit the road on Wednesday, February 26 to face seventeenth-ranked and top-seeded Wisconsin Lutheran College at 7 PM in the quarterfinal round. This will be the second of two meetings between the Regents and Warriors this year, with WLC winning 93-83 at Rockford earlier in the month. If Rockford is able to pull off the upset, the Regents would then travel to face either Concordia Chicago or Concordia Wisconsin on Friday night. Should the Regents continue to advance, Rockford will be on the road once again on Sunday, March 2 in the NACC Tournament Championship Game.
