ROCKFORD, Ill. - The Rockford University women's soccer team lost 10-0 at home on Sunday afternoon to the visiting Elmhurst University Blue Jays. The Blue Jays took control early and never looked back, putting up four goals in the first 24 minutes, three courtesy of Lauren Nevins. Elmhurst took a 7-0 lead into the halftime break and were able to tack on three more in the second period to put the Regents to bed 10-0.
- Lauren Nevins earned herself a hat trick in the first half, scoring three of Elmhurst's first four goals.
- Eight different Blue Jays scored in the game.
- Audrey Bray managed a pair of assists in the 10-0 win.
