WHITEWATER, Wis. -- The Rockford University women's cross country team participated in the Tom Hoffman Invitational on Saturday morning at Wisconsin-Whitewater.
 
Rebekah Starwalt led the Regents, finishing in 12th place out of 50 runners. She ran the 6k race in 25:40.
 
Rockford competed against Edgewood, Highland CC, Illinois Valley, Maranatha Baptist, MSOE, and Wisconsin-Whitewater. As a team, out of the five teams that qualified for a team score, the Regents took 3rd place.
 
The Regents will return to action on Saturday, Oct. 4, at the Warrior Invitational.
