ROCKFORD, Ill. -- Rockford University Athletics has announced that Holli Hall has been promoted to Director of Sports Medicine.

"This title change is much deserved and long overdue for Holli. She is an integral part of our student-athlete experience and has earned this promotion. I thank her for her tireless work and look forward to continuing to collaborate with her in the future. Her CPR instructor certification will not only benefit our student-athletes but also our coaching staff, campus community, and local community" Athletic Director Jess Stanek said.

"I would like to thank our Director of Athletics, Jess Stanek, for her continued support and leadership over the years. Jess and I have worked together in different capacities for almost 15 years and I am appreciative to have a seat and a voice at her table. Jess has always shown her confidence and trust in me as both an athletic trainer and colleague. I am excited about my new opportunities and responsibilities and look forward to continuing to be a safety net for our student athletes" Hall stated.

Prior to coming to Rockford University, Hall served as a graduate assistant in the athletic training department at Eastern Illinois University. While at Eastern Illinois, Hall assisted instructors with athletic training lab activities to supervising undergraduate students. Hall also worked with football, women's volleyball, women's rugby, and men's soccer programs at EIU.

Hall received both her bachelors and masters degree in kinesiology and sport studies from Eastern Illinois University with a concentration in athletic training and an emphasis in cardiac rehabilitation, respectively from Eastern Illinois University. She currently lives in Machesney Park, Ill. with her wife, April, and their two children, Scarlett and Jeffrey (JJ).
