In the match play, the one and two seeds receive a bye, while the other four teams play in the first round, which is a best of three series. Unfortunately for the Regents, University of Wisconsin-Whitewater won the series 2-1 to advance to the semifinals. Game scores were 177-131,169-180, 211-100. The Marian University Sabres ended up winning the GLBC for the third straight season.

The Regents will return to action on Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 14 & Feb. 15, at the Hoosier Classic in Indianapolis, Ind.
