GENEVA, Ill. -- The Rockford University men's cross country team competed at the Aurora University Spartan Classic at the Northwestern Medicine XC Course on Saturday morning.

Two Regents competed in the men's 8K, with both finishing inside the top 10. Sophomore Nicholas Greenland led the way, placing fourth with a time of 29:10, while junior Miles Lang finished seventh with a time of 29:27.9.

College of DuPage won the event with 24 points, with nine of its 15 competitors placing in the top 20.

The Regents will return to action on Saturday, Oct. 3, at the Steve Travis Invitational at 11 a.m.
