DUBUQUE, Iowa -- The Rockford University men's cross country team competed at the Bob Schultz Invite at the Dubuque Soccer Complex and placed eighth on Friday.

Miles Lang led the way for the Regents, placing 32nd with a 5K time of 17:13.3. Nicholas Greenland recorded a personal record, finishing 37th with a time of 17:26.8. Nahome Zere placed 80th with a time of 20:24.5, also recording a personal record, while JJ Newlin placed 99th with a time of 22:45.9. Zachary Easton made his collegite debut and placed 105th with a time of 24:53.8.

The hosts, Loras College, won the invite with 34 points, claiming eight spots in the top 15.

The Regents will return to action on Saturday, Sept. 12, at the Spartan Classic at 9:30 a.m.
