Jaden Bates was named Defensive Back Coach and Academic Coordinator in August of 2022. He steps into the role after most recently serving as a Student Assistant Coach at Division 1 FCS Wofford College.

Bates spent his playing career at Division 2 Limestone University as a defensive back from 2019-2021. He later graduated from Limestone with a Bachelor's degree in Science, specializing in Physical Education/Exercise Science with a minor in coaching.

Bates hails from Union, South Carolina where he graduated from Union County High School.
