Senior guard John O'Bryan (Richmond, Ky.) has been named Regent of the Week for the week ending February 14, 2016. O'Bryan exploded last week for Rockford averaging 26.5 points on 54.1% shooting from the floor including 56.3% from three-point range, while also adding 3.5 rebounds, 4 assists and 1.5 steals. His best game came on Saturday when he poured in a career-high 42 points, narrowly missing both the NACC record (45) and RU record (49) for points in a game. O'Bryan went 16-for-28 from the floor and was 7-of-12 on three-point attempts. He also added 4 rebounds, 6 assists, 1 steal and 1 block. Earlier in the week the senior scored 11 points, had 3 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals in the Regents' win over Illinois Tech.
