CHICAGO, Ill. - The Regents men's soccer team fell 3-0 on the road Saturday at Illinois Tech. It was a close game for most of the match as the Regents and Scarlet Hawks fought tooth and nail for much of the afternoon. Following a scoreless first half, the Scarlet Hawks took the lead in the 51st minute with the first goal of the match. The score would remain 1-0 until the final four minutes when Illinois Tech added a pair of goals en route to a 3-0 win.
Freshman goalkeeper Kyle Adams (St. Louis, Mo./Timberland) played well making 9 saves to bring his NACC leading season total to 78. As of October 1st, Adams was also ranked 20th in Division III in total saves this season.
The men's soccer team returns to NACC play on Tuesday, October 7th when the Regents hit the road to play Concordia University Wisconsin. The match has a scheduled start time of 4:00 PM.
