ROCKFORD, Ill.- The Rockford University volleyball team returned to action Tuesday to take on Beloit College at the Seaver Center. Rockford started slow and finished that way losing by a final of 3-0.
Rockford and Beloit went back and forth in the first set before Beloit pulled away to in 25-17. Rockford never regained control dropping the next two sets and losing by a final of 3-0. Taylor Rossi (Ingleside, Ill.) led the Regents with 3 kills and 10 assists. Alex Storey (Dexter, Mich.) had a team-high seven kills for the Regents.
Leading Rockford defensively was Madison Lanquist (Rockford, Ill.) with a team-high 10 digs.
The Rockford volleyball team returns to action Thursday, October 8 against the University of Dubuque with a scheduled start time of 7:30 p.m.
