ROCKFORD, Ill - The Rockford University women's basketball team (2-9, 0-6 NACC) dominated through four quarters to win 63-54 against Mount Mary University (4-7). The Regents showed extreme determination by sustaining the lead from early in the first quarter. Rockford took the lead 7-6 with 7:38 left to play in the first quarter and never gave up the lead for the remainder of the game. The Regent's success ultimately came down to free-throws and rebounds, going 85% from the line and out-rebounding the Blue Angels 40 to 29. Linzy Keller played an outstanding game, leading the Regents with 21 points and going a perfect 10-10 from the free-throw line. Other notable players were Emily Cox with 16 points and Neve Yerk with 10 points.

- Rockford answered when Neve Yerk hit a big 3-point basket to tie it at 3-3.
- The Blue Angels regained the lead with 7:52 left to play in the first quarter from Rae Grubbs hitting a 3-point basket to make it 6-5.

- Linzy Keller went up strong to the basket drawing a foul for the and-1. Keller increased the Regents lead after the made free-throw to make it 16-8 with 5:17 left to play in the first quarter.
- Mount Mary attempted to come back from the deficit with a made 3-pointer to be down 22-14 with 55 seconds left in the first quarter.
- Jazsmin Blue hit a jumper with eight seconds left in the first quarter for the Regents to lead 24-14 heading into the second quarter.
- Rockford's Courtney Sutherland showed toughness getting fouled for the and-1, and making the free-throw. Rockford held the lead 29-18 with 7:57 left in the second quarter.
- Late in the second quarter, Linzy Keller made a 3-point jumper for Rockford to take a convincing 35-19 lead.
- With a made jump shot from the Blue Angels, Mount Mary trailed Rockford 35-27 with 37 seconds left before halftime.
- The Regents charged into halftime with a 39-27 lead.
- Rockford held a commanding lead with Jazsmin Blue's jump shot to make it 45-30 with 5:35 left in the third quarter.
- Mount Mary hit another 3-pointer to trail 48-38 going into the fourth quarter.
- Linzy Keller's amazing free-throw performance boosted the Regents making it 52-38 with 8:41 left to play in the fourth quarter.
- Towards the end of the fourth quarter, Mount Mary made a push for the lead trailing only 58-52 with 2:11 left to play in the game.
- However, Rockford held on to win 63-54.
