ROCKFORD, Ill. - The Rockford University women's basketball team (3-21, 1-18 NACC) lost 82-38 Saturday night to second place Edgewood Eagles (21-2, 16-2 NACC). Rockford had a tough night as they struggled to get things going offensively. However, the Regents were outstanding from the free-throw line shooting 80%. Neve Yerk led Rockford's offensive charge with an impressive 17 points on the night. Emily Cox followed in a close second with 10 points on the night. Emily Cox is two 3-point baskets away from breaking the single-season made 3-pointers record with one more game left in the season.

• Edgewood started the game scoring the first five points.
• Rockford's Linzy Keller answered for the Regents by scoring the first two points to make it 5-2.
• After trading a couple of baskets Emily Cox made a layup for the Regents to trail a close 9-6 with 4:08 left in the first quarter.
• Neve Yerk kept Rockford in it with a big 3-pointer to make it 12-9 with 3:27 left in the first quarter.
• The first quarter ended with Edgewood going on a 3-0 scoring run to close out the first quarter 20-9.
• The Eagles broke open the scoring by starting the second quarter with a 5-0 scoring run to lead 32-9.
• Linzy Keller stopped the barrage by pulling up and sinking a 3-point basket to make it 32-12.
• The second quarter ended with Edgewood going on a 6-2 scoring run into the half up 42-16.
• The Regents were the first to get started in the third quarter with Emily Cox draining a 3-point basket to make it 42-19.
• The third quarter ended after the Eagles went on a 9-4 scoring run, closing out the third quarter 62-27.
• The fourth quarter started with Edgewood going on a 7-3 scoring run to increase the lead 79-35.
• Emily Cox hit a 3-pointer late in the fourth quarter to bring her within one 3-pointer to tie the Rockford University single-season record and two 3-pointers to break it.
• Edgewood went on to win 82-38.
