LOVES PARK, Ill. - The Regents women's soccer team (3-10-0, 2-8-0 NACC) could not hold back St. Norbert (7-7-1, 6-3-1 NACC) in a very unfavorable 8-0 loss Saturday. It was a consistent St. Norbert attack with 27 shots and 17 shots on goal, forcing goalkeeper
Elizabeth Elison to make some great saves. St. Norbert scored 4 goals in each half on their way to victory, only allowing Rockford to get three shots on goal. The final horn sounded, and it was a victory for the Green Knights, 8-0.
- St. Norbert started out very strong, scoring at the 5:51 mark as a shot was placed over Elison's head and into the net.
- At 12:54 St. Norbert scored their second goal. A pass that resulted in a one-on-one with the goalkeeper, shot into the back of the net.
- St. Norbert got another one-on-one with the goalkeeper in the 27th, resulting in another goal for the Green Knights.
- 1 minute and 21 seconds later they scored again, St. Norbert was one-on-one with Elison again, resulting in their fourth goal.
- SNC came out of the break ready for the second half. They scored a fifth goal after getting another offensive player one-on-one with the goalkeeper, scoring again.
- The Green Knights scored again less than a minute later on a cross into the box. The score at 6-0 in the 50th minute.
- Another SNC shot to the bottom right ended up in the back of the net in the 58th minute, making the score 7-0.
- The final goal of the game came on another shot just out of reach, ending up in the net, and finalizing the score at 8-0.

The RU women's soccer team will get set to host Aurora University next Wednesday, October 20th, at 7pm.
