LOVES PARK, Ill. - The Rockford University men's soccer team (0-3-2, 0-3-2 NACC) fell 6-0 Wednesday night to the Dominican University Stars (6-0, 5-0 NACC). The Regents struggled to get anything going offensively with just three shot attempts on the night. Maverick Attwood played all 90 minutes in goal for the Regents recording eight saves.
- Dominican struck first in the 24th minute when Garrett Boston found the back of the net, to give the Stars an early 1-0 advantage.
- The Stars added another three goals within a five minute span towards the end of the first half, to take a 4-0 lead heading into the break.
- Rockford tallied just three shots, one from Carlos Montes and one from Joshua De Avila in the first half and a shot from Pedro Acosta in the second half. Unfortunately, the Regents came up empty on all three occasions.
- Dominican tacked on two more goals in the 48th and 80th minutes en route to a 6-0 win.
The Rockford University men's soccer team takes on Benedictine University on Sunday, April 11. Kickoff is set for 1 PM.
