RIPON, Wis. - The RU women's volleyball team (2-9) lost its final two matches at the Red Hawks Invitational on Saturday. The Regents fell 3-0 (25-20, 25-21, 25-21) in a non-conference match to Concordia University Chicago (5-4) and then lost in straight sets (25-15, 25-6, 25-17) to UW-River Falls (7-7). Rockford's Melody Moreno was rewarded for her outstanding play throughout the weekend with a spot on the Red Hawks Invitational All-Tournament Team. Moreno concluded the tournament with 22 kills, 40 digs, 2 aces and a block assist.

Concordia Chicago

• Della Crain led Rockford with 6 kills, 2 block assists and a solo block. 
• Brynn Atwell tallied a match-high 18 digs. 
• Melody Moreno had a season-high 16 digs and 5 kills. 
• Jessica Witkowski recorded her second straight double-double with 14 digs, 13 assists and 5 kills. 

UW-River Falls

• Brynn Atwell led the Regents with 12 digs. 
• Casey Sheetz added 9 assists and 4 digs. 
• Melody Moreno finished with 9 digs and 2 kills. 
• Taylor Chastain had 3 kills and 2 digs. 

The RU women's volleyball team returns to NACC play on Tuesday, September 22 at Concordia University Chicago. The match has a scheduled start time of 7 PM.
