LOVES PARK, Ill.. - The Regents (2-6-0, 1-4-0 NACC) battled to a 0-3 loss against one of the top teams in the conference, Dominican University (7-1-2, 5-0-0 NACC), Wednesday night. Dominican put double-digit shots on the Rockford defense, but the Regents would hold their own and keep Dominican to a 3-0 victory. Two goals in the first and one in the second.
- Dominican struck early in a 13th minute goal that was put in by a cross, giving an early 1-0 lead.
- The Regents would face shot after shot in the defensive portion of the field but would keep their composure until a 38th minute goal on a near cross to the net gave Dominican their second goal of the night, right before halftime.
- The pressure would continue but a hold by Rockford sent the game into halftime, 2-0 Dominican.
- The second half was all Dominican as they tried to find the net but were off target on a number of opportunities.
- After a platoon of substitutions the Stars found their third and final goal of the contest, a shot by Bartridge went into the upper corner of the net, out of Morgan Dolphins reach. 3-0 Dominican in the 65th minute.
- Morgan Dolphin had to make a few strong saves to keep Dominican out of the score column again, but the only shot on goal by Rianna Tovar would be saved by the Dominican keeper, eventually leading to a number of Dominican corner kicks that wouldn't work out, Dominican wins, 3-0.

The RU women's soccer team will be hosting again in a NACC contest against Concordia University - Wisconsin. They will be the second of two games at Sports Score Two, starting at 3:30PM.
