Women's Basketball Falls to Aurora at Home

ROCKFORD, Ill. - The Rockford University women's basketball team (14-10, 9-8 NACC) was beaten by a stronger Aurora University team (13-9, 11-5 NACC) by a score of 82-60. The Spartans bench contributed 54 points and the team as a whole shot 45.3 percent from the field, causing the Regents to struggle to keep up. There is still good news however, the final bracket seeds have been decided after today's events and the women's basketball team will host the number ten seed MSOE to start tournament action. Rockford defeated MSOE earlier in the year 57-48 and will hope to do it again on Saturday at 2pm.
