Recap Recap
Game 1
  • Rockford wasted no time running up the score on MBU. The Regents stepped up in the bottom of the first and put up eleven total runs in one inning. Tyler Peake hit a double that earned him two RBI's, Bradey Franks hit a triple that scored two more, and Jake Bilotta came up again and hit a double to score the ninth run of the inning. Aaron Monti hit a single to left to score Jared Herzog and Ryan Smith finished out the scoring in the inning with a single to score Neil Freeman. Rockford led after the first inning 11-0.

  • Patrick Einhaus came up to the plate in the bottom of the inning and smacked a double to score two more runners and extend the lead to 19-0 before the end of the third.

Game 2
  • Game two was another lopsided matchup that didn't see the first runs until the second inning. Peyton McCray got the scoring started with a double that scored a pair of runs to begin the inning. Neil Freeman had the big at-bat for Rockford, hitting a three-run homer to left field to make the score 8-0 in the Regents favor.
