ROCKFORD, Ill. -- The Rockford University baseball program had two all-region selections from both D3baseball.com and the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) when they both announced their all-region teams on Tuesday morning. Kadin Bergstrom was voted First Team All-Region by D3baseball.com and Third Team All-Region by the ABCA while Fabis was selected Second Team All-Region by D3baseball.com and First Team All-Region from the ABCA. For both Bergstrom and Fabis this is both their second all-region selections as Fabis was Third Team a year ago by both D3baseball.com and ABCA while Bergstrom was named Second Team by both D3baseball.com and ABCA. 

Senior first baseman Kadin Bergstrom was voted First Team All-Region by D3baseball.com and was selected Third Team by the ABCA. He ended the season ranked 15th in five stat categories in the NACC, and finished in the top five in four of them. He was 20th in hits (54), tied for fifth in doubles (16), fourth in home runs (12), tied for seventh in RBIs (49), and fourth in slugging percentage (.716). Additionally, Bergstrom broke the career home run record (36) when he hit his 34th versus Aurora on April 14. Nationally, Bergstrom was ranked 49th home runs. 

Senior outfielder and pitcher Zach Fabis was selected Second Team All-Region by D3baseball.com and First Team All-Region by the ABCA. Offensively, Fabis recorded a .318 batting average with 41 hits and 17 RBIs. He also had seven doubles, one triple, one home run, and drew nine walks. On the mound, Fabis was dominant on the year ranking in the top 20 in five statistical categories, and in the top 10 in four. He placed fifth in the conference in ERA (2.63), tied for second in wins (8-0) going undefeated on the hill, fourth in fewest hits allowed (43), 21st in strikeouts (44), and fourth in batting average against (.224). His eight wins on the year tied a program record for wins in a single season. Fabis also had a complete-game shutout (March 21 vs. Marian) where he allowed just four hits while striking out 10 batters, in a week where he won NACC Pitcher of the Week. Nationally, Fabis tied for 22nd in wins on the mound. 

Rockford University ended the season with a 24-15 overall record, including a 13-11 mark in NACC play. The Regents finished in sixth place in the conference to earn their third-straight trip, and 11th overall berth, to the NACC Tournament.
