MILWAUKEE, Wis. - The Rockford University women's soccer team began NACC play on the road Wednesday afternoon with an impressive 4-0 win over Alverno College. Rockford dominated the game from start to finish. The Regents outshot the Inferno a whopping 59-0, including a 22-0 edge in shots on goal. Despite the lopsided stats, Rockford led just 1-0 at the half, before exploding for a trio of goals in the second half.
- Bianca Tovar broke the scoreless tie midway through the first half. Tovar scored an unassisted goal in the 25th minute of the match and gave Rockford a 1-0 lead.
- The score remained unchanged until the 56th minute. Mia Ostler took a pass from Tessa DelRosario and found the back of the net, to make it a 2-0 game.
- Morgan Dolphin then scored her second goal of the season with just over ten minutes remaining. Dolphin was assisted by Mia Ostler and Peyton Scott on the play, to extend Rockford's lead to 3-0.
- Rockford would add one final goal in the 89th minute of the game. Autumn Huntington beat the Inferno keeper with a shot into the upper right corner of the net, sealing the Regents' 4-0 win.
