LOVES PARK, Ill. - The Rockford University women's soccer team (1-2) faced a tough battle against Viterbo University (3-2-1), losing 5-0. The Regents were consistently on defense, only able to manage one total shot compared to Viterbo's 33, earning the V-Hawks a sound victory after 90 minutes.
- Viterbo scored 3 of their goals in the first half. The first was a dribble by Alex Little into the box and kicked past the goalie. A second goal came from a deflection off another offensive player, and finally the third was a great shot that bounced off the post and into the net.
- The V-Hawks put up another 2 goals in the second half of competition. A cross in the box and free ball in the box both ended up in the back of the net, giving Viterbo the 5-0 lead by the 81st minute.
