Tyra Clark scored a career-high 25 points and corralled 11 rebounds to help the Regents earn an impressive 66-50 win on Wednesday night at Concordia University Chicago. Rockford took the lead midway through the first quarter and did not trail the rest of the game. The Regents shot a season-high 45.0% from the floor and nailed eight three pointers, while holding the Cougars to just 27.9% shooting and a season-low 14.3% from three-point range. The win gives Rockford its third straight victory over Concordia Chicago.
- Concordia Chicago led a few times early on in the game, before Rockford seized control and never looked back.
- The Regents closed the first quarter with an 11-2 run and took a 15-4 lead into the second. Four different Regents scored over that span, led by five points from Tyra Clark.
- Rockford extended its lead to as many as ten points, before CUC used a 13-4 run of its own and clawed its way back within a single point at 26-25.
- Fortunately, Rockford again closed a quarter strong, outscoring Concordia Chicago 10-4 over the final 3:41 and took a 36-29 lead into the break. Tyra Clark again led the way for the Regents with five of the ten points.
