DE PERE, Wis. - The Rockford University football team fell 58-6 on the road Saturday afternoon to the St. Norbert College Green Knights. The Regents struggled to get anything going on either side of the ball for the vast majority of the afternoon. The Green Knights scored at least two touchdowns in each quarter and held the Regents scoreless until their final drive of the game. St. Norbert finished the day with over 200 yards rushing and passing, compiling 545 yards of total offense, compared to 155 yards of total offense for Rockford.
- The Green Knights scored on their first two possessions of the game to grab a quick 13-0 lead with 7:33 left in the first quarter. St. Norbert's two scores came on a 1-yard Owen Kudick run and a 6-yard touchdown pass by Peyton Lyon.
- St. Norbert added a 2-yard touchdown plunge by Delton Zuleger and a 53-yard TD pass from Lyon in the second quarter to take a commanding 27-0 advantage into the break.
- The Green Knights came out of the intermission on fire, scoring on all five of their second half possessions.
- Peyton Lyon got things started in the third quarter with a 10-yard touchdown toss, his third of the day.
- The Green Knights added touchdown runs from Zuleger and Chris McCartney, a field goal by Dalton Moyse and a TD pass by Chase Cassel, to take a 58-0 lead late in the fourth quarter.
- Rockford was finally able to get things going on its final drive of the game. The Regents moved the ball 75 yards on 7 plays, for their only score of the day.
- Quarterback Jaelen Ray was 2-for-2 on the drive for 58 yards, including a 34-yard touchdown pass to Da'Quan McIntosh.
- However, it was not enough, as Rockford fell by a final score of 58-6.
- Joey Alvarez finished with 17 tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss and a sack. His 17 tackles is tied for 8th most in a single game in program history.
- Jaelen Ray went 15-of-24 for 136 yards and 1 touchdown.
- Da'Quan McIntosh caught 3 passes for 43 yards and a touchdown.
