LOVES PARK, Ill. - The Rockford University women's soccer team took a tough loss to Wisconsin Lutheran in a 2-1 final score. This was their second NACC game that the Regents have played in. Wisconsin Lutheran had the advantage in shots 17-10 and corner kicks 7-1, but both teams were even in saves with 7 for each goalkeeper. WLC struck first in the match with a goal in the 15th minute of the match putting them up 1-0. The Regents responded and tied the game in the 43rd minute on a goal by 
Daisy Martinez to tie the game up 1-1. The match would remain tied until the 72nd minute, when WLC would find the back of the net to put themselves up 2-1 and they would be able to hold on for the win 2-1 over the Regents.
	- WLC started things in the 15th minute on a goal by Brooke Bluhm, putting the Warriors up 1-0.
 
	- The Regents tried to equalize the game shortly after on a shot by Rianna Tovar, but her chance was saved by Kallista Street.
 
	- Both teams would fire some more shots in the first half, but none of those shots would be successful, keeping the score 1-0.
 
	- Rockford would finally find the back of the net in the 43rd minute on an unassisted goal by Daisy Martinez, making it 1-1 with the first half coming to a close.
 
	- Peyton Scott tried to get the Regents going with a shot attempt in the 47th minute, but her chance was denied by the WLC goalkeeper.
 
	- WLC also had a chance on a shot by Elle Doninger, but it was saved by Kaeleigh Taylor.
 
	- The Match remained back and forth until the 72nd minute, when Brooke Bluhm found the back of the net, to give her team the lead 2-1.
 
	- The Regents had two good opportunities to tie the game up with shots from Jasmine Landberg and Maggie Pacileo in the 85th and 87th minute, but both of their chances were unsuccessful and WLC was able to hold onto the game with a final of 2-1 Warriors.
