LOVES PARK, Ill. - The Rockford men's soccer team kept rolling with a 1-0 win over Edgewood on Wednesday night, for its third straight win in conference play. The Regents 3-0 start in the
NACC is their best start in program history and also their third straight 1-0 win. The match was knotted at 0-0 the majority of the way, but

Kamangila broke the scoreless tie in the 52nd minute. The Rockford defense took it the rest of the way, with
Andrik
Vidaurri recording his third straight shutout to secure the 1-0 win.
- Edgewood tried to get things going in the 13th minute on a shot by Sal Genco, but the chance was saved by Andrik Vidaurri, keeping the scoreless tie.
- The Eagles had another opportunity in the 30th minute with a shot from Noah Hook, but his try was also saved by Andrik Vidaurri.
- Baruani Kamangila got the first shot of the game off for the Regents in the 32nd minute, but his chance was wide.
- Rockford had another great chance in the 34th minute on a shot on goal from Javier Palacios, but his shot was unfortunately saved.
- Enzo Muncy, for the Regents tried a last second shot in the 45th minute, but his shot was high keeping the game 0-0 after the first half.
- The Regents would get things going finally in the 52nd minute on a goal by Baruani Kamangila off of a corner kick from Francesco Stoner, giving the Regents a 1-0 lead.
- The Eagles tried to storm right back with a shot of their own in the 53rd minute, but it was kicked away by Matt Polovin.
- Rockford threatened again on another shot by Javier Palacios, but it was saved by the Eagle goalkeeper.
- Each team would trade shots for most of the second half, but the Eagles did threaten late in the match with 3 shots between the 86th and 88th minutes, but none were successful and the Regents were able to hold on 1-0.
