MEQUON, WIS. - The Rockford University women's soccer team took a tough loss on the road to Concordia Wisconsin 5-0. The Regents struggled in this matchup, with the Falcons having the advantage in shots (26-2), shots on goal (14-1) and corner kicks (5-1). The Regents however did have the advantage in saves (9-1), but had a tough day offensively. The Falcons were in control of this game from the start with 3 goals in the first half and 2 in the second half to take the game from the Regents 5-0.
- Concordia Wisconsin tried to get things going early with 6 shots in just the first 11 minutes of the match, but luckily for the Regents all shots missed either wide or high.
- The Falcons however were able to cash in on a goal in the 21st minute to put Concordia Wisconsin up 1-0.
- Concordia Wisconsin again tried to put one in the back of the net, but the shot was saved by Kaeleigh Taylor, her first of 9 saves in the match.
- The Falcons went on to score in the 36th and 40th minutes to improve their lead to 3-0 going into the half.
- The Regents would finally get their first shot off in the game in the 50th minute on a shot by Rianna Tovar, but unfortunately her shot went wide left.
- CUW tried to extend their lead 3 different times with shots on goal in the 53rd, 54th, and 57th minute, but Kaeleigh Taylor was able to save all those chances for the Regents, keeping the game 3-0.
- The Falcons unfortunately continued their offensive success with 2 more goals in the 76th and 79th minutes and took a command of the match 5-0.
- The Regents did have a chance to try and find the back of the net, on a shot by Daisy Martinez, but the Regent threat was saved.
- The Falcons were able to hold Rockford scoreless and take the game from the Regents 5-0.
