LOVES PARK, Ill. - The Rockford women's soccer team showed an impressive display of both offense and defense in a very productive game for the Regents. The Regents were in complete control the entire match outshooting the Eureka Red Devils 45-0, with 27 of those being on goal and the Regents found the back of the net 13 times from those shots. Those 13 goals mark the highest amount of goals scored by the Regents in one game for women's soccer, since the Regents joined the NACC in 2006. Rockford would dominate both halves, with
Rianna Tovar scoring 4 goals and
Jasmine Landberg scoring 3 goals.
- The Regents struck early and often with their first goal coming in the 10th minute on a bicycle kick by Daisy Martinez assisted by Silia Banza putting the Regents up 1-0 early.
- Rianna Tovar would start her huge day with a goal in the 23rd minute putting the Regents on top 2-0.
- The Regents would continue to add on with goals from Silia Banza, Rianna Tovar and Emily Perea before the second half to give the Regents a 5-0 lead.
- Jasmine Landberg would find the back of the net 3 times in just the second half to give her a hat trick on the day.
- Rianna Tovar added onto her huge day by securing two more goals in the second half and assisting on one.
