RIVER FOREST, Ill. - The Rockford University football team won in convincing fashion 74-45 on the road Saturday at Concordia University Chicago. The Regents scored on their very first play from scrimmage, a 73-yard touchdown pass from Jaelen Ray to Da'Quan McIntosh, and never looked back. Rockford scored at least two touchdowns in every quarter and racked up a season-high 715 yards of total offense, the second most in program history. The Regents scored on nine of their final ten possessions, including on all seven possessions in the second half. The victory gives Rockford is second straight win over the Cougars and its third in the last four meetings. 

• The Regents started the game off with a bang, by scoring on their first offensive play of the afternoon. Jaelen Ray tossed a 73-yard touchdown pass to Da'Quan McIntosh, to put Rockford out in front 7-0 less than 30 seconds into the game. 
• The Cougars answered right back with a touchdown of their own on a 9-play, 78-yard drive to knot the score at 7-7. 
• The score remained unchanged until Rockford's Tommie Jones forced a fumble, which was recovered by William Whitty Jr., to give the RU offense a short field.
• Rockford needed just five plays to find the end zone, this time it was a 15-yard touchdown pass from Jaelen Ray to Jason Dean, to put Rockford back in front 14-7. 
• The Regents would then score the next ten points to extend their lead to 24-7. Kaden Finnestad knocked through a 25-yard field goal, and Jack Carey found the end zone on the ground from one yard out. 
• After CUC scored to get back within ten, Rockford used an 8-play, 62 yard drive to retake a 17-point lead. Jaelen Ray was a perfect 5-for-5 on drive, including a 14-yard touchdown strike to Charles Parker Jr., to give Rockford a 31-14 lead at the half. 
• The first big play of the second half came from the Regent defense. William Whitty Jr., who recovered a fumble in the first half, intercepted a pass and returned it to the CUC 22-yard line, to once against set up the Regents with a short field. 
• Just as was the case in the first half, Rockford scored on its first offensive play of the second half. Quarterback Jaelen Ray hit Da'Quan McIntosh for 27-yard touchdown to extend the lead to 38-14. 
• Rockford and CUC then combined to score on each of the next seven drives. 
• Jack Carey scored the first of his three second-half rushing touchdowns on a 41-yard scamper to make it 44-21. On Rockford's next possession, Jaelen Ray tossed his fifth TD pass of the afternoon, this one a 28-yarder to Da'Quan McIntosh, to make it 51-24. 
• The scoring spree continued into the fourth quarter, with the Regents scoring just 1:09 into the period. Jack Carey took the handoff on first and ten and ran 39 yards into the end zone to extend Rockford's lead to 58-30.
• Rockford would add a 33-yard Kaden Finnestad field goal and Jaelen Ray's sixth touchdown pass and Da'Quan McIntosh's fourth touchdown reception of the game to make it 67-37. 
• The Regents tacked on one more score on their final possession, a 37-yard TD run by Jack Carey, his fourth of the day, en route to the 74-45 victory. 

• Jaelen Ray finished 28-of-36 for 426 yards and 6 passing touchdowns. The 6 passing touchdowns are tied for second most in school history, while the 426 yards ranks sixth most in program history. 
• Jack Carey ran the ball a career-high 30 times for career-best 242 yards and 4 touchdowns. He also caught 2 passes for 23 yards. Carey's 242 yards were fourth most in school history and his 4 rushing touchdowns are tied for second most and are just one off the school record. 
• Da'Quan McIntosh caught 7 passes for a career-high 184 yards and 4 touchdowns. McIntosh's 4 receiving touchdowns ties the RU single-game school record. 
• Napoleon Williams led the RU defense with 9 tackles and a forced fumble. 
• William Whitty Jr. recovered a fumble, intercepted a pass, broke up another pass and had 2 tackles. 
• Joey Alvarez had 8 tackles and a sack.
