Regents and Eagles Battle to a Scoreless Tie

LISLE, Ill. - The Rockford University men's soccer team finished with a 0-0 tie at Benedictine on Wednesday night. Although basically all of the stats tilted heavily in Benedictine's favor, the Regents' outstanding defense carried the team to its first draw of the season. Benedictine outshot the Regents 28-5, including a large 12-2 advantage in shots on goal. Fortunately, Regent keeper Wesley Pritzlaff was spectacular in goal. Pritzlaff tied his season high with 12 saves. Rockford is now 1-0-1 in the last two seasons against Benedictine.
