MILWAUKEE, Wis. - The Rockford University women's soccer team cruised to its second straight convincing win with a 7-1 victory on Thursday night at Mount Mary University.
Daisy Martinez scored the first two goals of the match to help the Regents build a 4-0 lead entering the half. Rockford added three more goals in the second half, including another by Martinez to give her a hat trick for the second straight game. Rockford dominated the entire match, outshooting Mount Mary 31-3, including an 19-3 edge in shots on goal.
