MONMOUTH, Ill. - The Rockford University women's soccer team had its two-game winning streak snapped with a 4-1 loss at Monmouth College on Saturday afternoon. The Fighting Scots jumped out to a quick 2-0 lead just over 16 minutes into the match. Monmouth added one goal in closing moments of the half to take a 3-0 lead into the break. The Fighting Scots extended their lead to 4-0 until the 
Jasmine Landberg scored her second goal of the season in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, it was not enough, as Rockford dropped its eighth straight to Monmouth. 
	- Monmouth's Danielle Beach and Nylea Cruz tallied goals in the 13th and 16th minutes to leap out to an early 2-0 advantage. 
 
	- The Fighting Scots tacked on another goal in the 39th minute to take a 3-0 lead into the half. 
 
	- Monmouth added its final goal in the 51st minute to extend its advantage to 4-0. 
 
	- Rockford was finally able to break through with its first and only goal of the match in 82nd minute. Jasmine Landberg got the Regents on the board with her second goal of the season off an assist by Daisy Martinez. 
 
	- Unfortunately, it was not enough as the Regents fell by a final score of 4-1.
