MADISON, Wis. - The Rockford University women's basketball team fell 90-48 on the road Wednesday night at Edgewood College. Rockford never led in the game and Edgewood was in control from start to finish. The Regents shot just 21.9% from the floor and 12.1% from three-point range, while the Eagles shot a blistering 55.0% from the floor and 52.2% from beyond the arc.
- Edgewood made its first five shots of the game to jump out to an early 12-5 lead.
- With the Eagles still holding a seven-point lead and four minutes left in the first, Edgewood closed the quarter on a 7-0 run to take a 23-9 advantage.
- Edgewood led by as many as 28 points in the second quarter before holding a 42-19 advantage heading into the half.
- The Eagles continued to pour it on over the final 20 minutes of the game.
- Rockford was outscored 48-29 in second half en route to a 90-48 defeat at the heads of the Eagles.
