ROCKFORD, Ill. -- The Rockford University men's soccer team took on the St. Norbert College Green Knights at home on Wednesday afternoon, a match in which they were shut out 3-0.
It was a very even first half. Neither team was able to muster a goal, heading into the half tied 0-0.Â
Wesley Pritzlaff was especially active, grabbing 4 saves in the first period (14 overall).
The Green Knights made some second-half adjustments, and that's when the doors came off.
They converted their first two goals early in the period, within a minute of each other. The third and final goal came in the 68th minute to put the game out of reach at 3-0.
The Regents will return to action on Saturday, Oct. 4, with a 3:30 p.m. CDT NACC match-up at home against Wisconsin Lutheran.
